Our Vision !

Vision of the organization is to improve the living standards of underprivileged, disadvantaged people who have been affected by natural or manmade disasters.

Our mission !

The Mission of the organization is to render humanitarian services to the victims of violence , nature disasters or social discrimination through the provision of emergency relief and medical assistance ; micro-financing towards economic recovery / self employment , improving sanitation and water facilities , and housing ; and through promotion of peace –building and the prevention of violence against women and children

Activities

The activities include:

ü Promotion of peace among the three major communities – Sinhala, Tamil and Moor – that live in equal proportions in the district.

ü Providing shelters and other amenities to tsunami victims

ü Assisting youth and other affected persons for self-employment

ü Providing sanitation and water resources to communities

ü Providing assistance to schoolchildren affected by tsunami.

ü Prevention of violence against women and children

ü Housing construction

Goal and Objectives !

ü      Foster self reliance and alleviate poverty through social mobilization, mutual assistance & empowerment.

ü      Provide relief, relabilitables the displaced and assists in the reconstruction of the affected.

ü      Assist affected women located families & encourage women to participate in all and training development activities.

ü      Conduct awareness and training program on health related activities and psychosocial activities
